The Do's and Don'ts

Rules

Vintage 74 and earlier (like 75 allowed) 4" rear and 7" front travel enforced.  Period Modifications only. (Amateur/Expert)
Evolution I Any bike up to and including 1977 bikes that are air-cooled, drum brake, twin shock. No USD or forks with reb/comp adjusters allowed. (Amateur/Expert)
Evolution II Any year bike as long as it’s air-cooled, drum brakes and has a non-link suspension. The later Yamahas were still air-cooled, drum, but had that little “L” shaped link at the rear. No USD or forks with reb/comp adjusters allowed. (Amateur/Expert)
Evolution III Any year bike as long as it has drum brakes. They can be retrofitted. Such as the 85 CR500 Honda, which had a stock rear drum, but had a front disc. If you fitted a drum front, it would be legal. Amateur/Expert)
Disco Class Up to & including 1990 year  bike (Amateur/Expert)
Decade Class Any bike up to a 10 year old machine. In this case the newest can be 1998.
   
Modern 3 levels of ability- Senior - Sport - Junior
50cc any age - one ability level  (100cc 4 Stoke)
60cc any age - one ability level  (125cc 4 Stroke)
80cc any age - one ability level  (150cc 4 Stroke)
Modern 250 Any Full-Sized bike up to 250cc. 2 or 4 Stroke
Modern Open Any Full-Sized bike
+30 Must be at least 30
+40 Must be at least 40
+50 Must be at least 50
+60 Must be at least 60 (Ride free)
Open Money Must be at least 30
** Signup will open at 7am and close at 9am at all events. No signup after 9am.

** Memberships are not required. For 2008, if you are not a member, there will be an additional $5.00 per event (not class) charge. So, if you ride 1 class - it's $35, if you ride 2 classes - it's $55.00 (it used to be $50)

** You must sign in prior to practice. No exceptions. You will be required to show an armband prior to being let out on the track. If you violate this rule, you will be asked to leave.

** All Mini riders must have neck protection.

** The 1st lap of each practice is a FULL CAUTION and you will observe it as so. Anyone doubling or not riding in a full caution mode will be disqualified for the day.

** Practice Order is set as follows -
1st -  50cc/60cc Minis for 10 minutes
2nd - 80cc for 10 minutes
3rd - Vintage/EVO for 15 minutes
4th - Modern Big Bikes only - 20 minutes

There is no late practice.

Race 3 - 50cc/60cc
Race 4 - Modern 250
Race 5 - +50
Race 6 - 80cc & Open Beginner
Race 7 - Open Money
Race 8 - EVO-1 & III
Race 9 - Modern Open
Race 10 - EVO-II & Disco & Decade
Race 11 - +30

The Racing Season and the coveted #1 Plates

2 racing seasons per year.  Spring series begins in late February and runs thru mid June consisting of 7 to 8 events.  Fall series begins late August and runs thru mid December also consisting of 7 to 8 events.  Each series is independent of each other.  There will be a #1 plate awarded to the top points earner from each class for the year. (Points from Spring and Fall Series' combined.)
